1. Maintenance - The natural lash life cycle is about 100 days. The eyelash extensions may fall off during this period because of the natural lash life cycle or because of poor technique or because of negligent care by client. It is highly recommended that you provide a complimentary 1-time touch-up policy for the first 2 weeks after the initial application. This wil be the key to retaining happy clients.
COMMON REASONS LASHES FALL OFF:
1. Mascara residue on eyelashes will compromise the contact area between eyelashes and eyelash extensions.
2. Extensions applied to curly or permed lashes will not adhere properly. Extensions should be used on straight lashes.
3. Actual lashes naturally fall off due to the client's lash life cycle.
4. Poor technique. Inadequate lash bonding.
5. The eyelash extensions were in contact with water within 2 hours after the eyelash extension procedure. Rubbing eyes, facial steaming or taking a steam bath is not recommended within 2 days of process.
